They’re not going to stop. Two assassination attempts in two months. This last one, the would-be assassin survived, so we might find out from him why he did it. Although police won’t say the motive, there’s really only two reasonable choices: 1: It’s the Iranians. They’ve wanted to kill him, and they’ve been quite clear on their intent to do so. They want revenge for among other things, him ordering the killing of General Soleimani. 2: Someone with a critical case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. The Left has said that Trump is literally the next Hitler. Every prominent Democrat including the President has suggested, either implicitly, or explicitly, that Trump and Maga Republicans are a threat to democracy. Right now, the facts are pointing to the second option. They’ve spied on him, they’ve impeached him, they’ve accused him, they’ve tried him, they’re trying to imprison him. Why would we put it past them to try and kill him? There is of course, a third option, that the Iranians are grooming mentally unstable people with TDS to do their bidding. The Democrats are certainly doing their best to grow a large crop of crazies for them to pick from. If that’s the case, God help President Trump.

On top of all that, we have a Secret Service whose leadership is either at best incompetent, or at worst, has been criminally and willfully negligent when it comes to the protection of a former President whose threat level is through the roof. A cynic might say the leadership (as opposed to the field agents) is criminally indifferent as to whether their protectee lives or dies. They seem content to do the bare minimum when it comes to providing resources for protecting Trump.
