A little over a week after a failed assassination attempt likely inspired his reckless rhetoric against his primary political rival, President Joe Biden has dropped out of the race for U.S. president. Biden is dropping out of the race, but not stepping down as President, sparing America, for the time being, from a Kamala Harris presidency.

Meanwhile, former President Trump, who has survived defamation, lawfare, and an assassination attempt in an effort to keep the Democrats in power to only grow in popularity, awaits word on his new opponent will be.

It remains to be seen if the bad actors on the world stage will take advantage of the last few months of his presidency.
