This week’s podcast deals with the death of George Floyd while under police custody and the subsequent riots. Were the riots that took place in Minneapolis and other cities across the country simply an overreaction to the apparent wrongful death of Mr. Floyd by people with pent up energy from the Covid-19 lockdowns or were the riots caused by hostile actors with more sinister motives? After allowing large parts of his city to be burnt to the ground, and the de facto legalization of rioting, looting, and arson, has the mayor of Minneapolis lost his moral authority to cite the local barbershop, corner store or church with violation of the COVID-19 restrictions, even when social distancing and hygiene is allowed for?
To hear my thoughts on these subjects and more, listen to my weekly podcast here.
