Nineteen years ago, America was attacked by a foreign enemy whose evil ideology, based on a perversion of religion called upon them to destroy the American way of life. Today, America faces attack from an enemy with an evil ideology, based upon a perversion of liberal, secular values. Unlike the enemies who attacked us on 9/11, these enemies come not from far-away lands, they do not fight for an ancient religion, they have their own secular substitute for a religion, a death cult called Leftism. This pseudo-religion takes an ideology that caused the deaths of over a hundred million people in the 20th Century. They have repurposed the collectivist dogma of the communists, socialists, and fascists of the last century for their evil pursuit of power in this. Like those who attacked us almost twenty years ago, their twisted sense of morality leads them to believe they are the righteous ones, and those of us who believe in the American way of life are infidels to be either converted, if need be by force, or exterminated. Also, like in those times, American resolve will be tested. We did not ask for, nor did we start the War on Terror of the last two decades, but we fought it because we had to and we fought to win. We did not ask for this fight either, but we must once again take a stand against this new force of terror for the survival of America as we’ve known it. Let us, on this Patriot’s Day resolve to keep America, America.
