Here we go again, Leftist violence strikes again.

By now, you’ve heard the news of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. He’s a bit of what I’m thinking… This is going to be more a steam of thought than a proper essay. I beg your indulgence.

• The idea of the “tolerant Left” is a myth. There is a tolerant Right. The fact that there are not riots, arson and looting going on now by Kirk’s supporters and American Conservatives in general proves that. We all know what would be going on now if a prominent figure on the Left had been murdered. Charlie, as a devout Christian would not approve of any violent reprisals in his name.
• Just when you think the Left can’t sink any lower into moral decrepitude, they do. (When I say “Left”, I mean those who believe in Marxism in any of its forms, but especially nowadays, cultural Marxism.) These are not liberals, they are totalitarians. They believe in achieving power though any means necessary. And yes, that means political violence to include assassination. Today was beyond the pale, but sadly, par for the course for them.
• Leftism is not a harmless ideology. No form of Marxism is, and this one is no exception. It has a body count to its name and it grew dramatically by one today. A refugee from Ukraine was stabbed to death on a train in Charlotte, NC. The man had many run-ins with the law and looks to have had serious mental-health issues. He may not have been a Leftist, but the Judge that left him walk on no cash bail was. She undoubtably thought she was striking a blow for social justice. A dangerous social justice warrior acting on Leftist ideology. Then there was the Minneapolis Catholic school shooter, another troubled soul who followed another branch of Leftist ideology. The list goes on.

This has to end. Leftism needs to be relegated to the ash heap of history with Communism, socialism, and fascism. Charlie Kirk was killed because he was making strides towards doing just that. We have to continue on with that and do it as he did it, though learning, discipline, and conviction. While the other side embraces violence, we must embrace reason and faith.
