Happy New Year!

In this episode, I try and predict things that won’t happen in 2024. I also review last year’s list to see how I did. Spoiler alert: Some of those things actually did happen! I was happy to be wrong on the rate of inflation, and Hunter Biden being charged with serious crimes. This year’s list is a bit more conservative. Some real evergreen, blue-chip predictions! I’ll be happy to be proven wrong on these…

Five Things That Won’t Happen in 2024:

• An uncontested US presidential election. Whichever side loses the 2024 election will say it was stolen.
• An impeached Biden convicted in the Senate. The House may not even impeach Joe Biden, despite the fact there’s far more cause to impeach him than there was to impeach Trump either time. Even if they do, few if any Democrats will vote to remove him.
• A national news media providing unbiased reporting. We have a better chance seeing Bigfoot ride a dinosaur down 5^th Ave than any of the legacy news media adopting non-biased reporting standards.
• A Conservative government anywhere in the English-speaking world doing anything very well…conservative. Big “C” Conservatives are really good at only one thing– disappointing small “c” conservatives.
• Disney putting out a truly non-woke, family friendly entertainment product. Nothing bearing the Disney name will cater to traditional family values, and unfortunately this may also extend to any of their properties, namely Marvel or Star Wars.
