Today the Venezuelan people are celebrating May Day by staging an uprising against a tyrannical Socialist regime. Why?  Because socialism sux. That fact won’t stop people like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez from pushing socialism in this country to an economically and historically illiterate segment of the population. To those folks, my Mayday message is simple: Turn on your TV and watch those people in the streets of Caracas who’ve had enough of empty store shelves, sporadic power, and hyperinflation.  Listen to what they have to say about how well Socialism has worked in their country, then ask yourself, why should anyone expect a socialist experiment in this country to turn out any different?

… And to those brave souls in Venezuela:  Buenas Suerte.
