On that day, may it never come, our war dead will have given their last breath for no more a cause than a piece of land, some natural resources, or a border on a map. Memorial Day will be a much different day, a day to mourn more than the loss of American heroes, but of a free country that once existed that was worthy of their sacrifice.

Many have made the ultimate sacrifice for us to live in freedom. Do not squander it. Do not sell it cheaply. Let us strive to be worthy of their sacrifice. This is what we owe them, that and our everlasting gratitude.
Election strategy revisited.
There will be no shortage negative of ads and personal attacks in the coming months. Conservatism has so much more to offer America than that.

Hillary Clinton now seems to be interested in giving unemployed former coal miners green jobs. Of course the only reason they are out of work and thus "victims" in the first place is because of the oppressive regulations that are destroying the coal industry.
Exit Cruz, Exit Conservatism?
If in July in Cleveland the Republicans focus on the commonalities rather than the differences between Trump and conservative wing of the party some degree of unity can be achieved. If they do, they’ll be the stronger for it. If they don’t it could be a long, hot summer.
Quick Thoughts 5/3/16
The Cruz-Kasich alliance is better termed a mutual non-aggression pact. It's true that Kasich didn't call for his supporters to vote for Cruz to stop Trump in Indiana, but he did pull his operation out of Indiana in favor of more fertile grounds in Washington and New Mexico. Some in the media were quick to call it a failure, the truth is we won't know until those states vote, starting on Tuesday.
