We also, like the shepherds in the fields and their people, anticipate His coming, and sing out with joy as the angles did, when we feel his presence among us. So, in life's Nativity play, we at times play the parts of the Shepherds, the Angels, and of our Father. Our tradition of gift-giving, receiving, and rejoicing over the whole thing is the value of the Christmas season.

These are dark times for many reasons, yet we are not in darkness, and need not stumble around in their darkness, but in His light. That is the light that was brought into the world roughly two thousand, twenty years ago.
