Perhaps the best commercial for American Conservatism are the anti-communist demonstrations currently in Cuba, where people have taken to the streets waving the American flag. They're not waving the EU flag, the BLM flag, or the Soviet flag, they're waving the American flag, knowing full well the ideals of liberty and freedom it embodies. Truly oppressed people recognize that the ideals held by American conservatives are intrinsically pro-freedom, anti-oppression.

Racism against whites is wrong for the same reason that racism against blacks, Asians, and Hispanics is wrong. Racism is a form of collective punishment. It lumps in the good with the bad of a particular race and that's not fair to the individual.
Time to decide what kind of people we want to be.
Nor is an alleged non-understanding or rejection of science on the part of conservatives and libertarians the problem. The problem is in the mandate itself, coming not with the consent of the governed, but from the governmental elite, who consider themselves our moral and intellectual betters. Most Americans it turns out, don't like to be ordered around.
