The President has managed to circumvent Congress and the Constitution on numerous occasions to rule by Executive Order. In light of these facts, it is hard to maintain the belief that Americans enjoy the kinds of liberties the Founders had in mind when they signed the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights.

Is America Really a Free Country?
“It's a free country,” as the saying goes. We as Americans have been brought up to believe this. Our Founding Fathers even put it in writing. We say it without giving it much thought. It's cliché. If we were forced to answer this question honestly, could we really answer in the affirmative?

What is “Liberal/Progressivism?
Liberalism in general is a social/political movement for change away from the predominant, existing system or culture in question to something different.
Hillary is in. What difference will she make?
If she campaigns according to the Democratic playbook as we can expect, she will attempt to convince Americans to trade freedom for comfort. She will attempt to sell the notion that the only way the average middle class voter can get ahead is through a program of wealth distribution.

The Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights were purposefully written by the Founders as the antidotes to tyranny, and to prevent homegrown tyrants from replacing the ones they’d just thrown off.
So, what is American conservatism?
To be a conservative is to guard against any erosion of the Constitution's power. It is to hold the belief that following it should not be a choice, but the sworn duty of all government officials.
