We're coming up on the third anniversary of the Liberty Relearned (LR) Podcast. Just as one assault on our freedoms due to the ACA (Obamacare) prompted me to launch LibertyRelearned.com eight years ago, another crisis of our freedoms prompted me to launch this podcast in May of 2020. At that time, we were in the depths of the Covid hysteria and the truncation of our rights that came with it. Soon after, were the riots, looting, and arson that surrounded the Geroge Floyd protesters.

There’s nothing in the statement to reassure the Parler users to stick around, because what comes will be better than ever. How many times will Parler users have the rug yanked out from under them before they jump ship for Truth Social, Getter, or a kinder, gentler Twitter? I don’t know what sort of company Starboard is, and I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the ham-handed way they just took down Parler is not a good start.
