Quick Thoughts 7/11/16
To his credit, President Obama condemned the despicable shooting of Dallas police officers during his visit to Poland last week. It wasn't with quite the passion and anger he reserves for condemning Republicans especially while overseas, but was appreciated.
Election strategy revisited.
There will be no shortage negative of ads and personal attacks in the coming months. Conservatism has so much more to offer America than that.
No shortage of constituents
Hillary Clinton now seems to be interested in giving unemployed former coal miners green jobs. Of course the only reason they are out of work and thus "victims" in the first place is because of the oppressive regulations that are destroying the coal industry.
Random Thoughts on the Past Week
Marco Rubio: Did well as expected in the debate. Will this translate into votes in the primaries? His chief nemesis to date has been his fellow Floridian, Jeb Bush. Try as he might, Jeb just cannot penetrate Marco’s armor of being quick witted, good-looking and young.
Benghazi Select Committee Democrats Waste Their Time with Hillary
The Democrats spent a lot of time accusing the Benghazi hearings of being political. They said it was wasteful. They were right, but it was they who politicized it.
A Biden run would not be good news for Hillary.
The Democrats know they have only two viable candidates, one who has the Sword of Damocles hanging over her head, and the other an aging Senator from a small state who has little incentive to run, except for a sense of duty to his party.
Is Hillary Really Done This Time?
One thing we know about the Clinton's from Whitewater, is that having mounds of evidence does not mean jail time, at least not for them.
